The Sullivan Gulch Condo
Amy and Chad (not their real names for privacy purposes), the young professionals who owned this condo agreed that they wanted the space to have a modern aesthetic. We decided to work with a black and white color palette that gives the home a sleek look. We also installed a light wood patterned floor to create an open, clean, and contemporary feel. Amy has a deep love for the outdoors, so we tied in a nature aesthetic by adding pops of electric yellow and biophilia green to furnishings and decorations, which complement the simple black and white color palette. The kitchen is the first thing people see when they walk into the condo, so we wanted our design to highlight the area and give it the attention it deserved. For the backsplash, we used white subway tiles that align evenly in rows, helping to enhance the contemporary style. We maintained the original cabinets, but gave them new life with a coat of charcoal colored paint. Finally, we installed a beautiful white countertop to create a new cooking and eating space for the kitchen and dining area. Since the remodel, the clients have been enjoying the new space, and are looking forward to entertaining their friends and clients.
